Course on Initial Psychological Emergency Care

Easaad Al-Falastin Child, in collaboration with the Roots of Healthy Development Foundation, is concluding a series of training courses on primary psychiatric care, which targeted 80 participants from different age groups and both sexes. The course was delivered by Prof. Ibrahim Haboush and Mrs. Tigrid Abu Khit, where the training sessions focused on introducing participants to the concept of primary psychiatric ambulance, its importance in supporting individuals affected by crisis and psychological stress, as well as enhancing self-care skills and ways of maintaining mental health. The courses also addressed the objectives of primary psychiatric ambulance, mechanisms for providing safe and effective psychological support to enhance individuals" and society's ability to adapt to various challenges, as well as establishing a culture of mental health awareness and care and community support.The Association confirmed its desire to implement quality programs that contribute to building the capacity of the local community, and promote awareness about the importance of mental health and self-care, which reflects positively on the well-being of individuals and families.
