A meeting on gender-based violence targeting women

The Palestinian Association for the Advancement of Children has held a new meeting aimed at women, as part of its project "Promoting Resilience and Protecting Society: Peaceful Development", in cooperation with the Sameh Foundation. The meeting addressed a number of important topics related to gender-based violence, with the aim of raising awareness about its concepts, forms and effects on individuals, families and society, as well as highlighting ways to prevent it and available protection mechanisms and support. The meeting witnessed the participation of women through discussions and sharing experiences, which will contribute to promoting community awareness and empowering women to learn about their rights and ways to access support services. These activities are part of the efforts of ECA to promote community resilience, empower women and build a safer and more supportive environment for all members of society.
