An awareness-raising session on online violence, targeting women.

As part of its efforts to promote awareness and protection, the Palestinian Child Happiness Association carried out an awareness meeting targeting women about cyber violence, in cooperation with the Family Defense Association. The meeting dealt with the concept of electronic violence and its forms, its psychosocial effects, and methods of preventing and dealing with it, in addition to promoting awareness of the importance of protecting privacy and digital security while using social media. The meeting also included a discussion and an exchange of views and experiences, which contributes to empowering women and enhancing their ability to protect themselves and their families from cyber risks.
